What to Expect with Furgo Rides
What is Furgo Rides?
Furgo Rides is a dedicated pet transportation service that provides safe, comfortable rides for dogs within our service area. We are not a ride-sharing service. Every ride is scheduled, controlled, and designed specifically for pet safety. We follow a strict 1-pet rule, with up to 2 dogs allowed per household for private, secure travel.
How is Furgo Rides different from ride-sharing?
Furgo Rides is not a ride-share.
We do not operate like Uber or Lyft. We transport pets only, in safe equipment, suited for each individual pet using scheduled appointments with trained pet handlers. No random drivers, no shared rides, and no unsecured pets—ever.
How do I book a ride?
Booking is done online through our scheduling page. Once your pet profile is completed, available ride times will appear automatically.
Do I need to pre-register?
Yes. Pre-registration helps us set up your pet’s profile, confirm your service area, and match them to the correct Sleepypod safety gear. This must be completed before your first ride. Start here
What safety equipment do you use?
We use Sleepypod crash-tested harnesses, boosters ,carriers, and crates. Customers select their pet’s preference based on their comfort level of riding in a car.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve all of Atlantic County, NJ. If you're not sure whether you're in our service area, you can still submit your address and we’ll confirm.
Can you pick up my dog from my home?
Yes, we offer home front door pickup. Please make sure your dog is ready at pickup and that any gate or access codes are provided. We reserve a 10 minute grace period.
Do you ride with the windows down?
No. We keep windows closed and climate-controlled for safety.
Do you handle multiple dogs?
Yes, as long as they are from the same household or pre-approved.
What if my dog is anxious or reactive?
Please tell us during pre-registration. We use fear-free handling techniques and will plan the safest setup for your dog.
Do you offer day trips or store trips?
Yes. We offer short , fun enrichment trips to pet stores and other pet-friendly locations. Availability may vary.
